It’s not quite May and it already feels like summer here in Delaware County! In fact, I think a record high temp was set yesterday (April 27).
Ramps (wild leeks) are sprouting on the hillsides everywhere and are available in the store. Our asparagus is not far off. We also have our own salad greens in the store now.
And, the farmers markets will begin soon. You’ll find us at the Callicoon Farmers Market this coming Sunday, May 3. Then the Cooperstown Farmers Market the following Saturday and at the Pakatakan Farmers Market starting May 16.
